The need continues to grow, and so does our commitment to every girl.
In 2025, Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay provided financial assistance to 915 girls across the Delmarva Peninsula, ensuring they could experience the life-changing opportunities Girl Scouts offers.
This year, we expect to provide more than $70,000 in financial assistance, helping over 1,100 girls become Girl Scouts and participate in programs that build courage, confidence, and character.

Every girl deserves the chance to be a Girl Scout. Girl Scouts gives girls a safe place to make friends, try new things, build confidence, explore the outdoors, serve their communities, and learn skills that will last a lifetime.
For some families, however, the cost of joining is one more expense they simply cannot afford. As the price of groceries, housing, and other everyday needs continues to rise, many parents must make difficult choices about what they can and cannot provide for their children.
At Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay, we believe that no girl should miss out because of financial hardship. Our Financial Assistance Program helps remove that barrier so every girl has the opportunity to belong, learn, lead, and grow.
Your support of our Summer Financial Assistance Campaign helps make Girl Scouts possible for girls across Delaware and the Eastern Shores of Maryland and Virginia. Every gift, no matter the size, helps welcome more girls into Girl Scouts and gives them the chance to build courage, confidence, and character.
