Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay builds girls of courage, confidence, and character across Delmarva through hands-on leadership programs, outdoor adventure, STEM exploration, and community service. Our programming is led by dedicated volunteers who inspire girls to discover who they are and what they can achieve.
As we celebrate milestone anniversaries at our beloved camps, 75 years at Camp Todd and 85 years at Camp Country Center, we are also investing in the future through a focused membership campaign to reach even more potential Girl Scouts. Your gift strengthens camps, expands access, and ensures every girl, today and for generations to come, has the opportunity to be a Girl Scout.

Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay relies on financial support to ensure all girls have access to meaningful, high-quality experiences regardless of economic barriers. Key funding needs include scholarship assistance so girls can attend summer camp, day camp, and outdoor leadership programs; support for national membership dues to ensure cost is never a barrier to participation; and program and activity funding for badges, supplies, STEM programming, outdoor education, and leadership development aligned with the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
Equally important are community partnerships that help expand access and enrich programming. We seek free or low-cost community spaces for troop meetings, trainings, and events, as well as partners willing to engage directly with Girl Scouts through troop visits, workshops, mentorship, and career exploration. In addition, field trip and site-visit partners who can host troops at free or reduced cost provide invaluable real-world learning opportunities across STEM, the arts, skilled trades, environmental science, health, and civic engagement—strengthening girls’ connections to their communities while building confidence and leadership skills.
