Why would a student choose a field of study they know nothing about?

The High School Health Careers Program exposes high school students to healthcare fields through exciting field trips and hands-on presentations. Students are shown how the body works, encouraged to have more empathy for various health conditions, and given the chance to interface with professionals in various disciplines to increase their interest in healthcare professions.

We organized 11 field trips last year serving students in five of the nine counties on the Eastern Shore, including Wicomico and Worcester. With your help, we can continue to provide these impactful experiences and expand our reach into more counties.

Help us motivate the next generation of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, EMTs, and other health professionals!
