This Giving Tuesday, you can help grow the next generation of environmental leaders right here on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore.

Youth Environmental Action (YEA) empowers young people to take on real-world environmental challenges — from planting trees at the Truitt Street Community Center to expanding food access through community gardening and leading outreach at sustainability events and in our schools. YEA Ambassadors don’t just learn about environmental issues. They take action, build partnerships, and create tangible change in their own neighborhoods.

When you give to YEA, your support goes directly toward youth-led action projects and leadership development. Every dollar helps provide tools, materials, and mentorship that enable students to plan, implement, and sustain their projects, and to grow as confident young leaders ready to shape a healthier, more sustainable future.
