💙 A Story of H.O.P.E.: Restoring Dignity, One Person at a Time
On any given morning, the line outside 129 Broad Street begins before the doors even open. Some come with heavy coats and backpacks that hold everything they own. Others come with nothing but exhaustion in their eyes. By 9:00 a.m., the familiar rhythm of the day begins — a pot of coffee brews, a volunteer greets each person by name, and someone from the H.O.P.E. team meets with anyone requesting services or just wanting to chat.
For many of our guests, this small gesture — hearing their name spoken with kindness — is the first sign of dignity they’ve experienced in a long time.
