Young Life Salisbury & Lower Eastern Shore begins with a simple commitment: to meet high school and middle students where they are and walk with them toward the hope of Jesus Christ. Through Young Life, caring adults enter the world of teenagers — showing up at games, listening well, building trust, and creating spaces where students feel seen, valued, and invited into life-changing relationship.

This same heartbeat extends to WyldLife, our ministry for middle school students, and Young Life College, which supports young adults navigating the challenges and opportunities of college life. Across each setting, leaders consistently show up, offering friendship, guidance, and a steady reminder that God is already at work in their lives.

Again and again, we witness the Lord’s faithful provision in this community — volunteers who say “yes,” supporters who give generously, and moments of connection that happen at just the right time. As Paul expressed gratitude for his partners in the gospel, we, too, are grateful for those who share in this mission and help carry the good work forward.

As we step into this season of giving, we invite you to join us. Your generosity ensures that students across Salisbury and the Lower Eastern Shore continue to encounter belonging, purpose, and the transformative love of Christ through Young Life, WyldLife, and Young Life College.

Giving Activity

Mission

Introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

Needs

For many low-income students across Salisbury and the Lower Eastern Shore, the dream of attending Young Life summer camp — a week consistently described by teens as “the best week of their lives” — is increasingly out of reach due to rising costs. Camp fees continue to climb, but one of the greatest financial challenges our area now faces is transportation. Charter bus prices have surged in recent years, making it significantly more expensive to simply get kids to camp in the first place.

When combined with the cost of lodging, meals, and essential gear, a full camp experience can exceed what many local families can possibly afford. Without scholarship support, students who would benefit most from the hope, stability, and belonging that camp provides are often the ones least able to access it.

Our commitment is clear: no student should ever miss out on camp because of financial hardship or the cost of transportation. Your generosity helps cover rising bus expenses, offsets camp fees for low-income students, and ensures that every young person — regardless of household income — can step into a week designed to change their lives.
