Seaside Toolbox Academy – Building Pathways. Strengthening Communities.

Seaside Toolbox Academy was created to address a growing and urgent need in our region: access to skilled trades education, workforce readiness, and essential home-service support for families who need it most. Founded by leaders in the trades and workforce development, our nonprofit exists to ensure the next generation is inspired, trained, and equipped to build meaningful careers—while also strengthening the communities they serve.

Across the Delmarva Peninsula, industries are facing a critical shortage of skilled workers, while many individuals lack access to hands-on learning opportunities that lead to stable, well-paying careers. At the same time, many households struggle to afford necessary home repairs that impact health, safety, and quality of life. Seaside Toolbox Academy was formed to bridge these gaps through education, outreach, and community support.

Our Programs & Impact

Career Exploration & Trades Education
We introduce students and adults to the skilled trades through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build awareness, confidence, and interest in career pathways such as plumbing and other essential trades. Our programs emphasize real-world skills, problem-solving, and exposure to industry professionals.

Mobile Training Lab(2026) & Community Outreach
Our Mobile Training Lab brings interactive learning directly into schools, community centers, and events—removing barriers to access and meeting learners where they are. These demonstrations allow participants to explore tools, materials, and trade concepts in a fun, approachable way.

Workforce Development & Apprenticeship Support
Seaside Toolbox Academy works in collaboration with industry partners to help build a sustainable workforce pipeline. We support individuals as they move from exploration to training and into employment opportunities that offer long-term stability and growth.

Healthy Homes Relief Fund (2026)
Recognizing that safe and functional plumbing is essential, our upcoming Healthy Homes Relief Fund will assist income-qualified households facing urgent plumbing repairs. This program is designed to protect health, safety, and dignity while keeping families in their homes.

Why Your Support Matters

As a community-driven nonprofit, Seaside Toolbox Academy ensures that donations directly support programs and services—expanding access to education, strengthening the skilled trades workforce, and providing relief to families in need. Together, we are building pathways to opportunity and investing in a stronger, more resilient future for our region.

Mission

It is Seaside Toolbox Academy's mission to inspire, train, and equip the next generation of trades professionals across our region.

Needs

To expand access to hands-on trades education and community support across the Delmarva Peninsula, Seaside Toolbox Academy relies on financial support, skilled volunteers, and community partners. Funding allows us to develop mobile training experiences, purchase tools and educational materials, and launch programs such as our Plumbing Relief Fund.

We also depend on volunteers and mentors from the trades and broader community to share expertise, guide learners, and inspire the next generation of skilled professionals. Together, these resources ensure our programs remain accessible, impactful, and responsive to local workforce and community needs.
