This December will mark 51 years of the Salisbury Jaycees Foundation devoted service to our local youth.
The Salisbury Jaycees Foundation has been honored to impact countless lives through our signature event, the Children's Christmas Shopping Tour. Thanks to your unwavering support, we have been able to bring the magic of Christmas to children in need, filling their holiday season with joy and warmth.
It is important to remember that for many vulnerable families in our community, the excitement of Christmas morning remains uncertain.
In collaboration with Walmart, Mountaire Farms , and the Wicomico County Board of Education, the Salisbury Jaycees Foundation is committed to bringing holiday cheer to around 200 underprivileged children in our community. Chosen based on genuine need, these children may find that the gifts they receive through this program are the only presents they get this Christmas.
Mission
The Salisbury Jaycees Foundation, Inc. was created in 1975 to accumulate funds by gift and investment that benefit local youth of the Salisbury community. It is the intent of the Foundation to promote, sponsor and carry out charitable fundraising that benefits the annual Children’s Christmas Shopping tour, sponsored by our affiliate organization the Salisbury Jaycees Inc. In addition, it is the intent of the Salisbury Jaycees Foundation Inc to explore other opportunities in the future that will further strengthen the growth and development of our community’s local youth.
