LifeMark, Inc. is a nonprofit behavioral health organization with offices in Salisbury, Maryland, and Georgetown, Delaware. For more than 13 years, LifeMark has provided accessible and evidence-based counseling and wellness services to individuals and families throughout the Lower Eastern Shore. Our mission, Instilling Hope, Cultivating Wholeness, guides every part of our work as we support people who are facing trauma, addiction, grief, depression, anxiety, and the many challenges that come with complicated life transitions.
We offer individual, couples, and family counseling, addictions treatment, group therapy, supervision and training for clinicians, and holistic support that cares for the full person, body, mind, and spirit. Services are provided in person and through secure telehealth so that people in rural and underserved communities have the same access to care as those in more developed areas.
LifeMark is known for being a warm, safe, and clinically excellent place where individuals can heal, grow, and rebuild. Each year our licensed and nationally board certified clinicians provide more than ten thousand mental health appointments. Many of those we serve are experiencing some of the most difficult seasons of their lives and many would not have access to care without LifeMark. Our goal is simple. We want to strengthen families, build healthier communities, and bring hope to every person who walks through our doors.

Our Most Pressing Needs
Every gift to LifeMark truly matters. Donations allow us to continue serving clients who are struggling emotionally, financially, or spiritually and to expand our reach to families who urgently need support. Below are the areas where community support is most impactful.
Support for Client Care
Many individuals and families simply cannot afford consistent therapy. When someone is battling depression, grieving the loss of a loved one, navigating addiction recovery, or trying to stabilize a teenager in crisis, the cost of care often becomes a barrier. Donations to our Client Care Fund help reduce or eliminate copays for clients with financial hardship. A single gift can make the difference between someone receiving help today or going without help altogether.
Strengthening Our Foundation of Care
LifeMark has historically sustained its work through insurance and Medicaid reimbursements. However, with ongoing changes in Medicaid and Medicare, shifts in the economy, and the growing difficulty families face in paying for care, reimbursement alone is no longer enough. Support for general operations helps us retain skilled clinicians, offer supervision and ongoing training, cover essential program costs, and remain a stable and trustworthy presence for the hundreds of people who rely on us each year.
Expanding Access Through Technology
Our telehealth program has become a critical lifeline for clients who live in rural communities or who face transportation, childcare, or mobility barriers. Technology upgrades and expanded telehealth capacity allow us to provide confidential, high quality care to individuals who would otherwise go without services. Donations invested in technology help us maintain secure digital platforms, ensure reliable virtual sessions, and expand innovative tools that support mental health and wellness from home.
