Needs

The families we serve are often navigating overwhelming challenges including financial instability, limited access to healthcare, housing insecurity, and a lack of consistent community support, especially during pregnancy and early motherhood. Through our givebacks and community baby showers, we have met mothers who are doing their very best but still struggling to secure basic essentials like diapers, safe sleeping spaces, formula, and postpartum care. These experiences have made it clear that the need goes far beyond one day events. Our mission is to provide consistent support, resources, and opportunities that strengthen youth, young adults and families, and our vision is to ensure that young people from underprivileged backgrounds have the tools and resources they need to thrive and achieve success in all aspects of their lives. Ultimately, IMU Kids, Inc strives to help build a more equitable society where young people can reach their full potential regardless of their background or circumstances.

To carry out this vision, we are committed to not only continuing our community givebacks, but also expanding our impact by offering parenting education, life skills training, tutoring and essential resources to build stable and healthy. Bringing this vision to life requires sustainable funding to cover programming, staffing, supplies, facility expenses, and the operating costs that allow us to grow responsibly and serve more families each year. With the support of generous donors, we can transform short term relief into long term stability and create lasting change for the families who need it most.
