The Germantown School Community Heritage Center is a community-restored, historic Rosenwald School. Our mission is to provide a tangible link to the history, heritage, and culture of our school and the community that fostered it. documents the history and heritage of our historic Rosenwald School. Through our adaptive reuse of the original school structure and 2 acre grounds we offer a museum and educational and cultural events that seek to create the sense of connection that was the hallmark of early 20th century rural communities such as ours. Because it takes more than words to make history and culture come to life, we have created exhibits that combine narratives, pictures, recordings and artifacts to tell our story, providing a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices, struggles and accomplishments of past generations.
What do we offer? A little something for everyone.
